Objective
At Microsoft, the team and I goal was to enhance the brand identity and voice of the newly revamped Microsoft Edge browser. Collaborating with the Edge team, my role focused on improving illustrations, color usage, and designing purposeful compositions with motion. The aim was to create an expressive and cohesive system that brought the brand to life across various areas of the browser experience, Shopping, Empty states, Collections, and more.
Creative Process
1. Research: I conducted research with the Microsoft Edge team on its identity beyond the logo and how that can inspire brand colors and designs.
2. Sketching: Using the insights from my research, I sketched several logo concepts to explore different design directions.
3. Digital Design: After reviewing the sketches with the team, I created several digital designs using Adobe Illustrator.
4. Refinement: I refined the chosen design based on Microsoft's feedback and made small adjustments to ensure it was the best representation of their brand.
5. Finalization: Delivered the final designs to use in the Edge browser.
